The SriLankan team is seeking dynamic individuals to join us as:
Accounts/Finance Officer
The Primary responsibility of the role is to manage finance-related
operations in alignment with the organization's corporate financial
policies. Key tasks will include ensuring accuracy and timeliness of
accounting for sales, capturing finance data , customer settlements ,
invoice entering , arrangement of payments and settlement of advances ,
reconciliation of customer, supplier, bank and general ledger accounts
taking corrective actions for open items and handling other assigned
finance functions including treasury and treasury related activities
such as funds positioning , analysis of cash inflows and out flows for
optimal funding.
Requirements

Passes at GCE Ordinary level (O/Ls) and 4 Credits ,including
Mathematics in one sitting and English (obtained at any sitting) with 3
passes at GCE Advance Level (A/Ls )in Mathematics /Science/or Commerce
stream with 3 years of experience in finance or finance related field.
OR
6
passes at GCE Ordinary level (O/Ls) with 4 Credits, including
Mathematics in one sitting and English (obtained at any sitting) with a
full or part- professional qualification in finance with 2 years of
experience in finance or finance related field.
Skill Requirements:
Should
be able to work in computerized systems and have fair knowledge of MS
Excel, Word, and E-Mail with good analytical skills.
Good verbal and written communication in English and interpersonal skills would be advantageous.
The upper age limit should be 30 years as of 02nd September 2024 which is the closing date.
Be a Sri Lankan Citizen.
Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
